The Youth Department at Brinklow Seventh-day Adventist Church recognizes the importance of inspiring our youth to desire a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We aspire to empower our youth to live as disciples for Christ by serving others in their communities and their world. Our desire is to help foster their personal spiritual growth and prepare them to be strong leaders today and tomorrow.
Youth Church is open to teens, ages 13-18, and provides spirit filled activities, musical and dramatic performances, and relevant discussions that are for the youth, selected by the youth. This special worship service is provided the first Sabbath of every month in a designated area of the church.
Adventist Youth Service (AYS) is open to children, teens, and adults who are young at heart. AYS is an afternoon program on the first Sabbath of every month that offers stimulating activities and performances by the young people, that are aimed at spiritual growth in a relaxed atmosphere.
Brinklow Youth Ministry also collaborates with other church ministries such as Pathfinders, Family Life, Community Service, Health Ministry, and others ministries that impact our youth and allow for leadership and service. Group activities such as socials, community food and clothing drives, and fundraisers are a regular part of our yearly calendar.
1 Timothy 4:12
Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in faith, in purity.
